Today (Wednesday) we went to Frankfurt again, to get my medical examination done, that I need for the visa. We arrived at about 8.30. They got a 1st floor, 2nd floor and a basement. The reception is at the 1st floor, the lady immediately asked me if I was there for the visa examination (due to Joseph´s uniform? *lol*), I said "YES". She gave me a number, No. 10 and sent me to the 2nd floor. I said to Joe: "Well, I hope No. 1-8 are already finished." :-)
Hmm, upstairs 2, 3 people were still wating. We waited about 45 minutes, while I had to fill out a green questionaire (anamnesis), then we went to the outer office of the doctor. The secretary asked a couple of questions and collected the fee. Then I was sent to the basement with a new number to get x-ray, blood test and pipi test. After the x-rays were ready, we went back upstairs, 2nd floor.
Waited again! Finally to see the doctor. She looked at the x-rays and found out, that my spine was a little bit skew (GREAT!), but nothing really bad, she weighed me (I think the scale was broken, cause I weigh less then I thought and this cant be *lol*), measured my blood-pressure, palpated me and made a visual test (the old-fashioned way with a board). Once with glasses, once without (god, am I blind!). She gave me the x-ray pictures and told me that they eventually wanna see them on the airport in the USA.
I asked her, when they will send the results to the embassy and she said Friday (but theres the Easter weekend so they´ll send it on next Tuesday or Wednesday. So pretty quick. The people there were pretty nice. Ok, thats it, I hope that was detailed enough.

Heute (Mittwoch) sind wir mal wieder nach Frankfurt gefahren, um dort meine vorgeschriebene medizinische Untersuchung durchführen zu lassen, die man für das Visum braucht.
Waren so ca. halb 9 da. Die haben dort Erdgeschoss, Keller und 1.Stock.
Die Anmeldung ist im Erdgeschoss, die hat mich gleich gefragt, ob ich für die Visa-Untersuchung da wäre (obs ans Josephs Uniform lag *grins*), ich ja gesagt. Sie hat mir dann ne Nr. gegeben, Nr.10 und mich in den 1.Stock geschickt! Ich sagte zu Joe: "Na, ich hoffe, dass Nr. 1-8 schon fertig sind." :-)
Nun ja, oben saßen dann noch noch 2, 3 Leute. Haben ca. 45Min. gewartet, währenddessen musste ich noch so nen grünen Bogen ausfüllen (Krankenvorgeschichte), dann kamen wir ins Vorzimmer von der Doktorin. Die Sekretärin hat dann noch ein paar Fragen gestellt und das Geld kassiert. Dann wurde ich in den Keller geschickt mit einer neuen Nr. zum Röntgen (Brustkorb), Blutentnahme und Pipitest. Dann gings wieder hoch, als die Rö-Bilder fertig waren, in den 1.Stock.
Wieder gewartet! Dann zur Frau Doktor rein. Die hat sich die Bilder angeguckt und festgestellt, dass meine Wirbelsäule ein bisschen schief ist (KLASSE!), aber nicht weiter schlimm, mich gewogen (ich glaub, denen ihre Waage geht falsch, denn ich wiege weniger, als ich dachte und das kann irgendwie nicht sein *grins*), Blutdruck gemessen, mich abgetastet und den Sehtest (ganz altmodisch mit Tafel) gemacht. Einmal mit Brille, einmal ohne (mann, ich bin vielleicht blind!). Das Rö-Bild hat die mir mitgegeben, denn das wird evtl. am Flughafen in USA verlangt... Hab sie gefragt, wann das raus geht und sie meinte am Freitag (ist aber Ostern, also geht es Dienstag oder Mittwoch raus) Also relativ flott! Waren ganz nett dort, die Leute...
